Recent trip to Vieques
My partner and I just got back from a long weekend at our house in Vieques. After nearly four years, the house finally looks finished and we're thrilled with the results. We arrived Friday afternoon, dashed to a quick business appointment, then ran to Morales for food and supplies. Ate at home that night. Saturday, Sunday and Monday were a blur of activities--working on the house, as usual, and trips to the beach. We ate at the Island Steak House on Sunday night and Tradewinds on Monday (many businesses are closed at this low-season time of year). Both were excellent. Flights home yesterday were a little bumpy, compliments of Hurricane Hannah, but all is well. Can't wait to return to Vieques in December!
